On October 25th, 2017, CMC SISG attended the International Conference for Smart City organized by Vinasa Association.
The conference was attended by over 550 delegates, including over 50 international delegates from Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Russia, Taiwan and Thailand. Leaders of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, leaders from 31 provinces and cities all over the country, together with IT experts.
Mr. Pham Van Trung, Deputy General Director, CMC SISG shared at the conference on information security: “When we accept the game of connecting many data, we must face the risks about information security. But when it comes to security, people often think of cybersecurity, but that’s just one part of security systems in general. Looking at a broader problem is that Smart City, which has state management levels, needs to pay attention to protecting the privacy of individuals. At the same time, we encourage businesses to go along with the government to build Smart City from the bottom, but the state should also have clear standards and policies from the top, because it can not leave all businesses Putting IT equipment into Smart City implementation is also. This will allow us to significantly improve information security. “
When asked about CMC’s willingness to build Smart City, Mr.Trung said: “CMC SISG is focusing on data analysis. In recent years, CMC SISG has combined with many companies. Technology partners provide a variety of data analysis solutions for businesses, thereby helping businesses make smart decisions. For Smart City, I think that real people’s opinion is also a very important data type. If we use data analysis technology to understand what people are thinking about through their everyday conversations on social forums, it will help us better meet their needs and desires. “
Especially, at the Gala Dinner, CMC SISG was honored to receive the Top 50 IT companies of Vietnam 2017 based on stable growth in revenue and personnel.
