On July 12, 2018, in SAS Analytic Insight Exchange 2018 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tan – In charge of Data Services Program, CMC SISG had a talk about Case-Study of CMC. SISG has worked with SAS to develop a real-time credit scoring and decision-making system in Vietnam for a newly established consumer finance customer. This customer is focusing on the revolving credit model with the form of cash card (Cash-card) used at all payment points of the national payment network (NAPAS) and identify the market with Analytic-First strategy to shorten the gap of competition with current major competitors in the consumer finance market by optimizing customer interaction and scoring to have the most preferential interest rate.

With experience in consulting and deploying many technology projects for financial and banking customers in Vietnam, the SAS RTDM project that CMC SISG is implementing for this financial company will become the brain of coordinating business strategy, approving, monitoring and managing risks and recovering debt for company operations and is a model of deep and wide complementary application of intelligence throughout the operation in consumer finance in Vietnam.
